Hall and Bjornsson will finally settle their rivalry in a 1am boxing match in Dubai to suit a UK audience
Eddie Hall and Thor Bjornsson will face off at 1am in Dubai as the duo come face to face in their long-awaited grudge match.
Hall was ready to settle his rivalry with Bjornsson last year, but he suffered a loose bicep which meant the fight date had to be cancelled.
The couple have exchanged heated words and verbal jabs over the past few months and finally saw their illustrious fight confirmed.
However, the fight will only take place in the early hours of the morning in Dubai with the “heaviest boxing match in history” taking place at 1am at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium.
UK fans can expect the main event to begin around 9pm on domestic shores.
The fight will finally take place on March 19 after the date has finally been confirmed, with the duo finally set to square off during fight week.
Bjornsson has already stepped into the ring three times having previously held shows with Steven Ward and Simon Valily.
His most recent fight came against arm wrestler Devon Larratt who came on as a late replacement for Hall after he required surgery for his injury.
Bjornsson recorded a dominant first-round stoppage in a full lag before calling rival Hall again.
The Icelandic star has warned Hall that he will not tolerate any more excuses and that he will be disappointed if his rival pulls out of their fight which is just under two weeks away.
“I’m so confident in this fight that I’m not worried about any of the moves,” Bjornsson said during his Youtube channel. “It’s just going to make me stronger.
“I’m super excited to go to Dubai, everything is falling into place. A lot of people are commenting online saying ‘what will Eddie’s next excuse be?’

“Hopefully he doesn’t pull out of this fight again with another injury, Eddie, we’re so close, train smart, remember to rest and don’t get injured.
“Honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me but I would be f****** f****** disappointed because I want to kick your ass.
“You can’t do this man for the fans and for the people. He actually said last time he was ready to fight injured, so there are no excuses now, Eddie.”
Hall has yet to take to the boxing ring but has been tough in training doing a remarkable body transformation to achieve the perfect condition for the boxing match.
He warned his opponent that he would come in heavier after gaining weight over Christmas in a bid to increase his punching power in the ring.
Bjornsson also prepared well for the fight and trained under Scottish trainer Billy Nelson.
