HISTORY Channel announces first dates for ALONE and KINGS OF PAIN

TV’s most intense survival series, “Alone,” returns for season nine Thursday, May 26 at 9 p.m. ET/PT only on The HISTORY Channel, followed by season two of the non-fiction series “Kings of Pain.” at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.

This season on “Alone”, for the very first time, ten candidates FIGHT TO SURVIVE in the bitter wilderness of the northeast shores of Labrador, Canada – a place known to be the hunting ground of the predatory polar bear. “The Ride Back” (wt) will offer an in-depth look at the raw emotions each survivalist felt on their journeys before deciding to retire, from intimate camera conversations to the unfiltered moments just before leaving solitary confinement, through candid interviews and footage from their journey to the base where it all began.
