History Channel Features Caputo Brothers Creamery on Modern Marvels

Looks like York County is about to make history this weekend.

Caputo Brothers Creamery in Spring Grove is set to appear in an upcoming episode of “Modern Marvels” on the History Channel.

“It’s an amazing opportunity to be featured on an iconic show like ‘Modern Marvels’, we can’t wait to see our cheese business on the national stage,” said Caputo Brothers co-owner Rynn Caputo.

Host Adam Richman, formerly the TV personality behind ‘Man V. Food,’ has revived the series to focus on the making of some of America’s most iconic foods and the small businesses that help produce them . The series returned this month after a seven-year hiatus.

Richman will explore the cheese-making process at Caputo Brothers and the story behind the creamery. Caputo Brothers Creamery opened in 2011, and in 2018 the company formed a partnership with Giant Food Stores and Tröegs Brewing Company in Hershey to help promote locally sourced beer cheeses for the holidays. Last year, Caputo Bros. and Tröegs unveiled their Collaboration with Mad Elf Beer Cheese using curds from Barrens View Farm in Dillsburg.

The Caputo Brothers episode will premiere at 10 p.m. on Sunday, February 28 on the History Channel.
