Channel 4 News will be broadcast from Leeds today for the first time cc @cathynewman

Tonight at 7 p.m. the news will be broadcast from Leeds for the first time.

Presenter Cathy Newman said news from ‘Leeds to Lviv’ will be covered on the show.

She tweeted: “A moment in @Channel4News history: I’m living in our new home in Leeds tonight.

“Tune in at 7am – from Leeds to Lviv, we’ve got you covered.”

The organization moved its headquarters to Leeds in 2020 and now has hundreds of staff working in the former Majestic building near Leeds station.

Steph’s Picnic is also broadcast daily from Leeds Docks.

The organization has pledged that 50% of its commissioning expenditure will be made outside the capital by 2023.
