The story® The Channel’s Successful Survival Series Alone is back like never before and takes place in the most spectacular and challenging location yet. In Season 8, ten entrants are dropped off into the interior of central British Columbia to brave the elements, wildlife and isolation of remote Chilcotin. Participants are based on Tŝilhqox Biny (Chilko Lake), called “Grizzly Mountain” in this season; located approximately 12.5 hours drive from Vancouver, British Columbia, and home to the Traditional Territory of the Tŝilhqot’in Nation (Chilcotin) and Xeni Gwet’in Indigenous Peoples.
